SHAKE SHACK

44 worked with Shake Shack for three years as it prominently expanded its presence in Boston. While it sounds crazy now, in 2015 at the onset of our work with the brand, we hosted one of Boston’s first ever, brand-led Instagram meetups at Shake Shack. In our three-year campaign we coordinated a journalism program for local high school students, orchestrated a Marathon Monday party to support the admirable MR8 Foundation, introduced many limited edition menu items, led a partnership between Shake Shack and former Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo to benefit the Boston Medical Center, launched mobile orders on its app, and finally, opened Shake Shack’s 100th location in the world, in Boston Seaport. The grand opening party we produced was graced by Danny Meyer himself and was a truly special moment for the city and the brand. We sourced a “green carpet” for the step and repeat, initiated a music partnership with indie blog Vanyaland and also forged a unique local partnership with non-profit Courageous Sailing, which nicely allowed Shake Shack to nod to its Seaport location while giving back to the local community. Below, you find a snapshot of our press campaign.
